Instructions for Hanging Your JEM Photography Metal Prints

Thank you for choosing a JEM Photography metal print. Our prints are crafted on high-quality aluminum, ensuring both durability and stunning visual impact. Follow the detailed instructions below to hang your print securely and enjoy it in your space.

Hanging Instructions:

  1. Choose Your Location:

    • Select a location that complements the artwork. Our metal prints are resistant to sun damage and can withstand a small amount of water, making them suitable for various spaces, including bathrooms and well-lit areas.

  2. Prepare to Hang:

    • Tools You’ll Need:
      • A level
      • Measuring tape
      • Pencil
      • Appropriate wall anchors and screws for your wall type (drywall, plaster, brick, etc.)
      • A screwdriver or drill

  3. Mark the Wall:

    • Using the Hanging Wire:
      • Hold the print up to the wall at your desired height.
      • Measure and mark where the top of the inset frame should sit. Remember that the hanging wire will cause the print to hang slightly lower than where the wire is placed.
      • Mark the position where the screws or wall anchors will be inserted.
    • Using the Inset Frame:
      • If you prefer a more flush mount, you can use the inset frame itself for hanging.
      • Hold the print up to the wall and mark where the edges of the inset frame will meet the wall. This will be your guide for placing screws or wall anchors.

  4. Install Wall Anchors and Screws:

    • For drywall or plaster, use appropriate wall anchors to ensure the print is securely mounted.
    • Drill pilot holes where you’ve marked the wall.
    • Insert the wall anchors, then screw in the screws, leaving about 1/4 inch of the screw exposed to hang the wire or frame on.

  5. Hang Your Print:

    • Using the Hanging Wire:
      • Hang the print by the wire on the screws. Adjust the wire on the screws to level the print.
    • Using the Inset Frame:
      • Hang the print directly from the inset frame onto the screws. Make sure the screws are seated securely within the frame.

  6. Final Adjustments:

    • Use a level to ensure the print is straight. Adjust as necessary.

  7. Enjoy Your Artwork:
